1. About this statement

This accessibility statement is prepared in accordance with applicable legislation as well as the relevant obligations under the UK Equality Act 2010. It applies to our UK webshop, which sells curtains and related accessories.

2. Description of the webshop

This webshop allows customers in the UK to purchase curtains and accessories online. It is browser-based and works on desktops, tablets and mobile devices. All core features, such as product configuration, basket, and checkout, have been designed with accessibility in mind. This means that the webshop and its core features are perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.

3. How the webshop works

  • Navigate through product categories or use the search field
  • On the product page, you can select:
    • Window type
    • Window size
    • Operation method
    • Colour
    • Side rail finish
  • Add the configured product to the basket
  • Select quantity in the basket
  • Complete your purchase through a step-by-step checkout with delivery and payment details
  • Receive an order confirmation via email

The entire process can be completed using a keyboard and screen reader.

4. Accessibility features

  • Keyboard navigation: The entire site is operable without a mouse
  • Screen reader support: Semantic HTML structure used
  • Alternative text: All images include descriptive alt text
  • Colour contrast meets WCAG 2.1 level AA
  • Zoom up to 200% without loss of functionality
  • Form fields have labels and clear error messages

5. Content that is not yet fully accessible

  • PDF documents: Some installation guides are in PDF format and not fully accessible to screen readers. We are working to replace them with accessible versions or provide alternative formats on request.
  • YouTube videos: Some embedded videos lack subtitles and are hosted on platforms we do not fully control. We plan to replace them with video formats that we can manage and make accessible.
  • Privacy policy: The privacy policy is located on a subpage of our marketing site, which is not yet fully optimised for accessibility. The responsible team has been informed, and improvements are underway.

6. Basis for assessment

The accessibility assessment has been conducted through a combination of internal manual testing, axe DevTools® and sample checks. No single consolidated test report is available.
